Scholarship

Each year our committee selects several worthy students who will be majoring in a horticultural-related field to receive our scholarships. We give several memorial scholarships donated by families of former members. At our May meeting we invite the scholarship recipients and their families to attend our recognition luncheon.

Community Beautification

Donations received will help maintain and revitalize the Carnegie Museum grounds, the Hanford Courthouse Rose Garden, and the Children's Storybook Garden.

County Fair Booth

Each year we plan, and put together a booth organized around a theme that the fair committee designs. This entails planning, decorating, building, and hard work by many members.

Donate& Support

Pride in the Neighborhood

Coming soon
The purpose of this program is to recognize neighbors who demonstrate above-average efforts in maintaining their property. The winner of the "Pride of the Neighborhood" will be provided with a decorative yard sign and a gift card from a local nursery.

New Wrinkles Gardening

Coming soon
This year we are going to work with our elderly population and those who currently reside in a rest home or assisted living facility. Our goal is to bring the garden to them, in the form of planting flowers and succulents in various containers.
